What is a Coil Spring Suspension :

Coil Spring Suspension is a mechanical device with a helical coil formed from spring steel like an elastic materials. Because of its unique construction, the Coil Spring can compress, expand or spin when under load and then revert to its initial configuration when the load is released. Coil Spring have the ability to temporarily store load and release it when required, which makes them useful for controlling motion and force in mechanical systems. Each single ring is called as coil. The no. of coils of Coil Spring may be extended up to non functioning free height. Coil Spring Suspension specification :

A Coil Spring Suspension is manufactured from round or rectangular flat bar or wire. It is forming by coiling in coiling machine in round ring shape maintaining the inside diameter continuously as per requirement up to required length. Each single ring is called as coil. The no. of coils of Coil Spring may be extended up to non functioning free height. Coil spring is manufactured in the form of gap between two coils is called Compression Spring and also other type in solid for without gap and forming pulling hook at both end called Tension Spring. Compression Coil Springs function for absorbing load, jerk, shock, vibration etc. Coil Spring Compression type is designed based on working space and spot and required load. Coil Spring compression type both ends are ground finished for proper fitment at working spot. The load measurement is based on the bar/wire diameter, inside diameter or outside diameter, no. of coils and free height or length. Coil Spring compression type function by applying pressure to gain actual performance while free height is reduced and tension type Coil Spring by installing one end hook fixed with device and pulling or hanging other end hook. At the time of function it extends the length up to capacity limit and absorbed load. When load or tension is released, the springs return back to previous position.
